Mrs. Mason's PreK-K Room

Mrs. Mason is our head teacher and has been teaching at DAS since 2015.  She began our forest school program in 2017 after receiving Master Forest Kindergarten teacher training, and enjoys seeing childrens' love for the natural world grow as they make discoveries and observations.  She earned her Masters of Science in Education with an Outdoor Education emphasis from Southern Adventist University in 2021. 

Mr. Mason's Upper Grade Room

Mr. Mason is the teacher of our older students.  He has a vast bank of knowledge and experience that he infuses into his hands-on lessons to make them engaging for students.

Mrs. Alyssa, Upper Grade Room Assistant and Music Teacher

Alyssa Keehn is a Masters certified teacher and has taught for over 20 years.  We are blessed to have her teaching with Mr. Mason so that our students have extra support and teacher presence to help them reach their full potential.
